Haven Dodds is one of our newer Client Services Representatives at Heritage Veterinary Care! Before joining the veterinary field, Haven worked in a variety of roles that helped him build strong communication and people skills—from being a funeral attendant (still one of his favorite jobs) to serving as a shift leader at Dunkin’ Donuts and a merchandise coordinator at Marshalls. Prior to joining the Heritage Veterinary Care team, Haven also worked as a medical assistant for an outpatient counseling and medication management office, where I gained valuable experience in healthcare and client support. He has always been drawn to roles that involve connecting with others and helping those in need — whether people or pets.

There hasn’t been a time in Haven's life when he didn’t love animals. Whether they’re pets, strays, or even the “scary” and misunderstood ones, he has always felt a connection to them. Haven loves interacting with our clients and their pets every day, and working at Heritage feels extra special since he went to school with many of his coworkers — it truly feels like home! As a lifelong animal lover, he feels the best part of his job is getting to see so many animals every day and learning more about the science behind veterinary care. Haven is especially interested in internal medicine, preventive care, vaccines, and oral medications.

When Haven is not at work, he loves being outdoors — especially relaxing in a hammock or enjoying a bonfire. He also loves spending quiet nights at home with his animals. Haven's home is happily filled with four cats (Fat-Boy, Princeton, Munch, and Bink),his adorable rescue dog Windy, a 10-year-old turtle he's had since he was little, and two rainbow sharks.
