Cheyenne joined the Heritage Veterinary Care team in 2020, bringing with her a lifelong passion for animals and hands-on experience gained from her 8 years in 4-H. Growing up, she made many visits to the former Cadiz Animal Clinic with her own pets, which helped spark her interest in veterinary medicine.
At the clinic, Cheyenne is in her element when she’s prepping and monitoring surgeries—her favorite part of the job. She also enjoys drawing blood and being part of the team that handles the wide variety of unique cases that come through the doors.
Cheyenne shares her home (and pasture!) with quite the animal crew, including her dogs Willow and Tully (Great Danes), Mick (Border Collie), Akela (Pitbull mix), her cats Bagheera and Lucy, and around 60 beef cows. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, walking, kayaking, attending livestock shows, traveling, and recently discovered a love for dog shows.
Cheyenne strives to be a familiar and reassuring face to our clients, and helps to provide the best care possible to our patients.
