At Heritage Veterinary Care, we take pride in offering a wide range of therapeutic options for your pets' healing journey. We offer a non-invasive therapy option called Pulsewave that stimulates cells and releases healing growth factors in the body. Also known as Sound Wave therapy, this option uses sound waves instead of light waves like a laser.

How It Works

Pulse Wave therapy works by delivering high energy sound waves that stimulate the cell and release healing factors that reduce inflammation, increase blood flow, accelerate bone formation, and enhance wound healing. As a result, the treated area experiences accelerated healing, reduced pain, and improved mobility—without the need for medications or invasive procedures.

What Conditions Can It Help With?

Pulse Wave can be beneficial for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions in dogs, cats, and other companion animals, including:

  • Osteoarthritis
  • Tendon and Ligament Injuries
  • Wounds
  • Bone Fractures
  • Back Pain
  • Shoulder Instability

What to expect during a session

Pulse Wave sessions are quick, gentle, and well-tolerated by most pets. Treatments typically last between 5 to 10 minutes depending on the condition being treated. Your pet will be wet down with rubbing alcohol to help absorb the sound waves, no shaving required! Your pet may be a bit sore after their first treatment, but it is essentially painless. There are typically only 1-3 treatments to provide long term healing, with results lasting up to 8-12 months depending on the pet and its condition.

Designed with Your Pet in Mind

Pulse Wave treatments are customized for your pets needs, depending on species, condition being treated, and age. Surgery, laser, and long term use of pharmaceuticals can get expensive. Pulse Wave therapy is an affordable treatment option that is covered by most veterinary insurance plans.
