Masyn Ohler is a Veterinary Assistant at Heritage Veterinary Care, where she is passionate about providing high-quality care and helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their treatment. Masyn's Bachelor of Science in Biology comes from Ohio Northern University, where she studied from 2022 to 2026 and completed minors in Environmental Studies and Chemistry. Before that, she graduated from Carrollton High School in 2022. From March to August of 2024, she interned in the veterinary department at the National Aviary, working with a variety of exotic avian and mammalian species in a zoo hospital setting. That role made Masyn responsible for the husbandry, diets, and enrichment of the teaching hospital residents, and gave her the chance to assist with zoological procedures, radiographs, and more. From February to August of 2025, she served as a Wildlife Rehabilitation Intern at the Stark Parks Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, where she learned about the behavior, diet, and environmental roles of Ohio's native wildlife while building husbandry and handling skills with avian, mammalian, reptilian, and amphibian species.
Outside of work, birdwatching, horseback riding, and hiking are how Masyn likes to spend her time. At home, a young brown tabby cat named Romeo keeps her company.
