Jody officially joined the clinic team in 2019, though her connection to Heritage goes back much further—she’s been shadowing Dr. Pendleton since 1995 and knew early on that this was where she belonged. Animals have always been Jody’s world and greatest passion. Raised on a dairy farm, she dreamed from a young age of working in the veterinary field—and she made that dream a reality.
Jody has a soft spot for “misfits” and has built a happy herd of her own at home, including Tegan (a beautiful purebred mutt), Woody (Australian Shepherd), Saige (Border Collie), Maria (Quarter Horse), Festus (Mule), four donkeys—Wrigley, Tuck, Mable, and Petunia—and her chickens: Ruby, Rosie Pop, Repecca, and Roberta.
When she’s not at the clinic, Jody enjoys spending time with her family and, of course, her animals—whether it’s trail riding with her horse, caring for her chickens, or enjoying the company of her dogs and donkeys.
