Dr. Aimee Clay has been at Heritage since 2005, initially starting as a veterinary assistant before later becoming a veterinarian in 2013. Dr. Clay is a 2013 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and received her Bachelor of Science from Kent State University in 2009.
Dr. Clay worked at a shelter during her undergrad and fell in love with the profession. She has loved science and nature since the moment she started walking, so it was a natural transition for her. Her special skills include cardiology (echos), dentistry, ophthalmology, and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Clay hopes to continue learning and growing in the practice. She loves attending conferences and applying what she learns in practice, as well as sharing her knowledge with the next generation of leaders in the field.
Dr. Clay has a few pets of her own, including Lizzy (a Cavalier King Charles), Tillie (a Rottweiler), and two guinea pigs (Rosie and Popcorn). In her spare time, Dr. Clay enjoys traveling, hiking, boating and kayaking, reading, and cooking.
